Golden State Practicing in Calihan?

Postby Dick Vitale » Thu Dec 07, 2017 2:39 pm

Word on the street at this moment is Golden State Warrior are practicing on the Dick Vitale court in historic Calihan Hall. Anyone confirm? Any pictures to share?

Pretty cool that Asst Coach of the Warriors WIllie Green got the team to shoot around at Calihan, pics here -->

Are NBA teams still staying at Townsend despite playing at LCA nowadays? I know there were teams over the years that went to Glaretop to shootaround due to proximity to the Palace. Perhaps Calihan can get more NBA teams around, further making it the center of hoops life in the Detroit area.

I happen to catch all the Brad Galli video on FB. It was quite a love fest and perhaps the highlight of the season thus far for the team. JJ got lots of props for his connections.

All of the NFL teams usually book the Marriot @ the Renaissance Center, 1/4 of the NHL and probably 1/2 of MLB book the Marriot @ the Renaissance Center. During the McCallum era the players who took official visits to UDM also stayed at the Renaissance Center.
