Nice to see Ray back on team and getting a little playing time. Should happen more as season progresses and older guys need more rest. D league playing helps him too I believe. Players need game minutes to improve.

I wonder if Ray Ray is going to join the team during their visit to the palace on Tuesday?

I'm at the Pistons/Spurs game tonight and it looks like Ray is on the bench. This was a nice touch by coach Popovich, to call up Ray for his visit home. So far, the Spurs are outplaying the Pistons and Ray has yet to enter the game.

Ray was recalled by the Spurs again today. Good for him, bad for me. I was hoping he would travel with the Austin Spurs to Grand Rapids on Wednesday so I could see him play again.

The spurs are set to cut Ray to sign 39 year old Andre Miller.

Something about McCallum to be with any team called the Grizzlies just bothers me.

Signed a 10-day contract with Memphis. See http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nba/ ... n-saturday

Sounds like he'll get a chance to play due to injuries.

Disappointed that Ray waived from Spurs. Great team.....thought good hook up for him. Wish him luck in coming years, be it NBA or overseas.

Since getting picked up by the Memphis Grizzlies in early March, Ray has played in the past 5 games, averaging over 24 mins per game and over 8 pts per game.

Last night he had 14 pts in 35 mins in a Grizz win.

Ray got a very nice write up on the Memphis Grizzlies forum after his performance against the Clippers. http://www.grizzlybearblues.com/2016/3/ ... re-summary

Ray is playing about 20 minutes per game, scoring seven points per game, for the Grizz since he was picked up.

Ray was released today by the Grizzlies in favor of Jordan Farmar, can you imagine that? Grizzlies' fan forum is up at arms over this. It seems that the Grizz coach is always choosing older players over younger players. The move also allowed Memphis to set the record for the most players in one season. Tough break for Ray.

On the bright side -- when Farmar was picked up he had just finished a stint with an Israeli team. The movement of players from NBA to D League to International and back again is becoming more fluid every year. I am sure he will get another opportunity.
