I look at the St. Joe dome every morning in the mirror. That is quite enough for me.

An early review of the Little Caesars Arena, home for Motor City Madness, from the Detroit Free Press:

$40 to park in the LCA-adjacent structure, $5 for a bottle of water. It will be interesting to see how much ticket prices go up from last year for the March HL tournament.

From the Detroit News:

“Horizon League tourney could leave Detroit after 2018”

Hmm, those are some concerning quotes from Wilson -- if he's being that negative (realistic?) at this point than 2019 is probably not at LCA.

Not sure what the absence of Valpo does for tourney tickets, and how much their base traveled. Then again they were always towards the top of the league so you'd think they did decently.

Parking may be $40 for the attached structure, I paid $10 just south of 75 when I went down there for one of the Kid Rock shows. I don't regard parking as a prohibitive cost/item for the HL tourney.

I like how the author refers to us as Detroit Mercy the first time and then goes on to refer to us simply as Detroit for the remainder of the article. Even though in some cases using Detroit Mercy would be better writing and make things more clear considering he is also referencing the city of Detroit.

I'm convinced HL tourney will not be in Detroit in 2019 and that the rebrand will never catch on.
