Blackshear now has that deer in the headlights look

Is he ready for 25 to 30 minutes a night along side Jones and Chatman?

He had better learn to extend his arms or he might as well be 6'3". I hope someone on the staff has noticed and has him working on shooting with his wrists and fingertips instead of with his forearms. Where is the Shot Doctor?

Not sure why you are going there NC, but if it makes you feel better go ahead. You will not find a better fan than me. Detroit should have 10,000 of me and they would be a lot better off than having what they have now. Watch the game and watch the kid play and you can see what I pointed out. Then again maybe you can't, and lets get one thing straight, no one needs Oakland.

I'm sure your heart is in the right place, but I'm trying to remember the last positive post you had on this board.

If Blackshear can turn into a Ryvon Covile, we will be okay.

Funny thing about this: I've met NC and UP and they are both thoroughly fine fellows. Doesn't mean I agree with them all the time but each is a die hard Titan and represent the university well. Good guys all around.

NC I do not sit and look for positive posts in a negative situation. If the sky is gloomy I call it gloomy I do not sit there and say what a wonderful shade of gray it is and how drab is beautiful. Some on here seem to think if the guy puts on a Titan uniform that makes him a player. When he puts on that uniform I come down to watch him play and I hope he plays well and I expect him to
do his best. I expect him to play smart and to use what tools he has to the best of his abilities and when the other team has more tools at their disposal, to use discipline to equalize the situation. The last couple of years there hasn't been much to be positive about down at 6 and LIv. Doing a lot of little things correctly causes good results.I have always felt the game was very simple with a lot of really stupid people trying to make it difficult.

like life yooper just like life.
In Greek mythology, the Titans were greater even than the gods. They ruled their universe with absolute power! Well that basketball court out there tonight, that's our universe. Let's rule it like Titans! (with apologies to coach boon)

Assuming Jones is healthy and can quickly adjust to playing at the D1 level; I believe we'll see Blackshear and Jones split time at the Center position. Of course, performance will determine how the minutes are allocated.

At Power Forward, I have Prince as the starter, getting the majority of the minutes. That said, I'm excited about seeing Ballantyne in action and won't be surprised to see him work his way into an 8-player rotation.

What is to be expected?

Starting center? A successful season? A leader on and off the court?

How about we start with, "Can he run and walk normally after his injuries the past two seasons?" ;)

If you have noticed, the two bigger players recruited by Davis this year, Curry and Isiani, can also shoot the 3. The 2018-19 Titans may play more like Northern KY than Wright ST. Blackshear may be a role player in that type of offense since he has never shown a jump shot in 3 years here. If eligible, Curry will push him for minutes since Curry is the more skilled player offensively.

Assuming Curry is eligible and Blackshear is healthy; here's a potential starting line:

PG ... Riley
SG ... McFolley
Wing ... Holland
PF ... Curry
C ... Blackshear
