The early signing period is on the very near horizon, November 14-21. Detroit Mercy will have a minimum of four scholarships to fill based on the expiring eligibility of McFolley, Blackshear, King and Holland. It will be interesting to see what the new staff does in recruiting now that they have had a bit of time to get their sea legs in running the Titan program.

right.
In Greek mythology, the Titans were greater even than the gods. They ruled their universe with absolute power! Well that basketball court out there tonight, that's our universe. Let's rule it like Titans! (with apologies to coach boon)

we run 3 guards now... the traditional center is dead in college basketball. we need tow bing guys who can play inside like a center and shoot midrange or even from behind the arch. Curry looks like he could be that guy.

Either way. We got out rebounded 38-27 last night. Maybe Curry can be that guy. Maybe Brandon will have one last growth spurt and will be even better on the boards. The traditional Center role is generally dead. If you look at the numbers Trayvon Reed puts up at TxSU, we need a guy like that. A LaMarcus Lowe type player would be fine.

The Titans have offered 7’1 (Center) Eric Rustin out of Tennessee. A 2-star recruit, he also has offers from Miami (OH), Hampton, Howard, Morgan St., and Tennessee St.

Agree with your point that Curry appears to be the type of player that can be effective on the inside and can also score from midrange. I'm wondering if Isiani is also that type of player. I understand Willy is a excellent shooter, however, it will be interesting to see if he's comfortable playing on the inside.

Detroit News has an online story today listing their top 25 Michigan high school players. Here’s a guy from the 2019 class the Titans have reportedly offered:

21. Micah Parrish, 6-5, Sr., F, River Rouge. “Parrish has impressed during the offseason and is being recruited by Power Five schools, including Wisconsin and Iowa. He also owns an offer from Detroit-Mercy.”

Verbal Commits website shows a lone offer, from Northwood.

River Rouge beat Detroit Osborn yesterday, 85-25. Micah Parris (identified as a Titan recruit) had 11 points and five rebounds for RR, teammate Donovan Freeman had 27 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Freeman is a senior and ranked slightly higher than Parris in the Detroit News' list. I couldn't find Freeman in the Verbal Commits database, wonder if Detroit Mercy is looking at him too.
