McFolley to Join the Club

Postby udballer » Fri Feb 16, 2018 11:52 pm

Just wanted to point out that Josh has a pretty good shot at joining the 1000 point club this season. I didn't realize he was that close. Would be a great accomplishment to get there as a junior.

Looks like Josh has a good chance to reach the milestone at Calihan in one of the next two games. I believe he needs 18 points to get there.

Assuming they'll stop the game to announce Josh's 1000th point tomorrow. That would be cool. My son will like that.

What a worker! He was great today, our most exciting and best player in my opinion. Dude has major guts.

Great call Greg. Definitely praise to Josh for passing 1,000 points, and doing so in such a profound way! He was amazing today, and should have played the entire game until he fouled out.

Plus, kudos to him for passing JJSr in steals. I hope he stays for next year. Our new coach will like having him and will use Josh and Corey much better than BA/JJSr did.

Congrats to Josh. He's some how managed to stay positive and work hard despite not being appreciated by the current coaching staff. That says a lot about his character. Josh signed up to play for Ray. While Ray was not perfect, you can bet anything we would not be an 8 win team for Josh's sophomore and junior seasons under him. We made a catastrophic decision hiring Vowels, who then went on to make other catastrophic decisions. I'm sorry our university let you down.

Well said Tacitus.

It's all about leadership. Unfortunately, the Jesuits and Mercy sisters are to blame. I watched Loyola today and they are 26-5. Leadership matters for excellence.

So true, bc. I watched quite a bit of that game. That place was rocking. As already noted, Calihan has a funeral home vibe.

Josh was terrific Saturday. This has been a tough home season with few wins and mostly small crowds. Thank you Josh for a great performance and making it a fun game to attend despite the loss.
