I have been thinking about Corey and his transfer and I do wish him the best. I think Corey is one of the best players in the last 10 years to play for the Titans. He is one player that I felt his freshman season exceeded my expectations. The above statement by Jimmy is close. I think everyone should be responsible for their decisions. I feel Garibaldi should also be escorted off of campus!

Can’t help but wonder if this transfer decision ends up being a huge mistake for Allen. Ray Senior is taking his talents to the French Quarter and following Hunter to Tulane. Georgia State, I believe, loses some good players to graduation this year, especially some of their bigger guys. The guys that remain might challenge Allen for minutes at the guard position. Plus, you have to think some of their commits might back out.

Doesn’t look very good for Georgia State the next two years. Obviously, had Allen stayed, he would have been able to play for a well known coach, played with one of the best players in college ball, and had a legitimate chance of dancing in 2020. Hope it works out for Corey and that he at least likes going to school there.

I wish he could come back. He was a good scorer when he played and was enjoyable to watch from a fan perspective

Wright State:
Acceptance rate of 96%
Graduation rate of 38%
ACT range: 18-25

Currently in the middle of a major financial shitstorm. Faculty voted No Confidence in their Trustees three days ago.
School hires basically anyone to teach because no reputable academic would be found dead on your campus that has the architectural style of a state prison.

From WSU’s actual webpage:

High school graduates will be granted admission to Wright State University if they meet one of the following options:

OPTION 1
Complete the Ohio Core curriculum*
AND

Achieve a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.0
AND

Achieve an ACT composite score of 15 or SAT total score of 830

OPTION 2
Complete the Ohio Core curriculum*
AND

Achieve a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.5
AND

Submit any ACT/SAT score

It actually says “any” ACT/SAT score.

I’m honored that the 9 of you in your little club talk about me.

I don’t post on the OU board. Haven’t in a year. You need me, come find me on Twitter where there’s real conversations about HL basketball happening.

Doubtful. Even if you do, your school is still a POS joke. Like that time the Commision on Presidential Debates had pity and awarded you a debate and then you guys royally screwed up due to your dumbf*ckery.

https://www.daytondailynews.com/news/la ... f2TuRBJuM/

The lawsuit claims the debate commission pulled the event from WSU because of the “incompetence of certain WSU staff, as well as the epic gross buffoonery and carnival type atmosphere on the main campus with all the infighting and lack of support and finger pointing.”

Sad.

Thanks for the offer but no thanks. Also the world doesn’t revolve around you. It revolves around the sun. Have a blessed day OUDrummer my titan refugee.

When next season begins Corey Allen will be playing for his third head coach.

BREAKING - Wrong State freshman Malachi Smith announces he is leaving the program. Says on twitter that God is guiding him in his decision.

Congratulations, Malachi! Leaving Wrong State will undoubtedly be the best decision of your life. You were right to trust the lord. Wherever you end up, I promise you will receive a better education.

I'll stand for us Titans against our conference opponents - especially the actions of some players on the Raiders. But it is not a good thing for the HL to lose a good young player like Smith. He was on the All-Freshman team and would have been a tough competitor. Plus Wright State has a pretty good recruiting class lined up. I want to beat them straight up - like we did last year by 22 points at Calihan Hall.

I would say that the odds are STRONG to see Allen back in a Titans uniform next year, either as a grad transfer or via a release. This is very exciting...

Georgia St. beat Brewton-Parker tonight, 104-35. Former Titan Corey Allen started and played 18 minutes in the mismatch, went 5-12 from the field and scored 15 points, dished out three assists, and grabbed one rebound.
