Mid-Majors and RPIs

Postby ExcitedTitan » Thu Apr 05, 2018 7:52 am

I was wondering if we were still considered a mid-major. The answer is yes. I figured there were high majors, mid-majors and low majors, but there is no such thing a low major. If there were I think we'd be in it. I went back to look at our and the HL RPIs for the past 10 years:
'18 - 303/26
'17 - 288/17 ____________________________BA
'16 - 198/20
'15 - 205/16
'14 - 235/14
'13 - 64/12
'12 - 127/14
'11 - 143/11
'10 -167/10
'09 - 281/12_______________________________Ray
'08 -287/11
'07 195/12

Ray inherited a 287 team, only brought it up a little his first year but was in the mid 100s and lower years 2-5 and ended under 200. Ray went from 64 to 235 when he lost Ray Jr., Calliste, Anderson and Minnerath. I'd love to have just 1 of those guys now. BA inherited a 198 and brought home a 288 and 303.

The conference has taken a tumble as well from consistently low teens.

The actual RPI for the Titans this year is 318. The league is correct at 26.

Pretty sad, isnt it?
