Per Horizon League site the exodus of talent from the Horizon League continues as Isaiah Brock is the latest to transfer. He's going to Grand Valley State

Any idea why? Drummer? Leaves a pretty depleted roster at MSU Jr.

Brock was a complete misfit at OU. He’s an outstanding young man with a decorated military career. He simply did not meet Kampe’s lack of moral standards for a recruit.

Brock was not going to play last season until a last minute change of heart.

Wonder what Tony Paul is hearing about this story? And why wasn't this front page news in the News Sports Section with a TP byline?

Biggest thing is he wants to be a bigger part of the offensive game. That’s not what Kampe wants from him. By going to D2 he’s immiediately eligible which is important when you’re in your mid 20’s already.

All that said... whatever. He’s a decorated army guy. An upstanding human. I’m sure s great dude. But this is two years in a row he has quit on his teammates without even so much as talking to anyone about it. I think it’s weak. He blocked half the OU fan base on twitter for being “bad fans” then leaves. So, whatever. Most OU fans figured he’d be gone. Now it’s just confirmed.

Brechting and Mais will be great in the post. The freshman Sowunde coming in will simply need to be able to provide minutes this season. Julius Palmer also transferring which is nothing lost besides a warm body.

Could it possible be that Brock is a very mature person and wants a degree worth something. Maybe he enjoys being a part of a team and does not enjoy playing with a bunch of rehabs and convicts.
