I don't know what happened in those two injuries to Davis, but it appears that they reset his shooting touch. He's on fire.

I’m here. No substitutions for Detroit in the second half!

6:53 left with a chance to make it a two possession game and King just launches one from way behind the arc at the very beginning of our offensive set. Exactly the kind of crap Davis said we can’t do on the radio show. Come on guys, run the offense.

Josh, King & Willy a combined 4 for 21 shooting. Josh and King were 3-17 combined. Josh did find his touch late in the game.

Couple that with no energy in the first half and you get this result. You have to play 40 minutes hard. Especially on the road.

Antoine had a good game. Blackshear had a good game. Hamrick played well in the 2nd half. Brandon, Curry, and Moore had bad games. It's going to take Isiani time to adjust to the speed of D-1 college. All 3 of our conference losses are games in which Isiani has played. But he was our best option tonight versus the other 3 players having bad games.

I may be blind by tomorrow morning from looking at that court and the lights reflecting off it on the TV screen. Talk about UIC and Oakland having polar opposite color schemes on their floors.

I feel we all keep saying every upcoming game is critical, but in this case it’s really true. We need a win at IUPUI if we want to finish in the top 4. Stop this 2 game skid, prove we can win on the road, and get team morale back up.

We have a rough road trip in early February - we need road wins now against middle of the pack teams or we’re opening HL tourney play at someone else’s house. That simple.

Are Zone play was terrible. It appears to me that guys are anticipating were the ball is going to move so they are cheating by moving to far out early. This is making them skip a step creating a vulnerable for penetration. This zone is a constant movement and players are just not doing it. Hopefully the team will get it down before the HL tournament. It should be a dominate zone defense for this league. With the lack of strong bigs in the league and teams play strong on the three. That is what this defense is perfect against when run right.
