It can be way far behind!!!!

Last year, the final roster was not announced until September 26th.

Nothing specific to offer, but I’ve read numbers for buy games being in the range of $30K to $85K.

I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that we get more in net revenue from a single higher-end road deal than we get for the gate minus operating expenses for the entire home schedule. So having more of these buy games could generate significant additional dollars for the athletic program. With fewer home games another plus is that it might allow the marketing & promotions staff to double up efforts to pump the attendance for games against EMU, Toledo and Northeastern.

As a private school, we don't release the info, but the publics do. In 2018 (I haven't seen 2019 data), Green Bay got $364K in ticket sales and parking/concessions from 16 home games. That topped the league. Wright State was next at $329K. IUPUI was last with $38K on 12 home games, but they were an outlier. YSU was next lowest, at $138K.

Around the league the average ticket revenue per fan in attendance was about $5.60. I would guess, given our attendance, that two good guarantee games would bring in more than our entire home schedule.

Looks like a good non-conference schedule - tough enough to help prepare for league play with a decent chance for some wins. It would be great to be above .500 with at least 7 wins, but my admittedly low-bar hope is for at least 5 wins with no bad blowouts (unless we get some nice roster surprises!).

Four home games is OK considering that Coach once had zero at TSU, but more is always nice. How often have we had more than four recently?

NC State's schedule is out.

We play them this time at PNC Arena. Last game was at the on-campus Reynolds Coliseum. Although the schedule says the game time is to be determined, the countdown clock on our website is synced to a 2 pm EST start on Sunday, November 10th.

PNC Arena? Great now I have to spend $20 on parking vs just a walk through campus from a free lot.

There may be a secret Titan Club bus running from the Apex Waffle House to PNC (Rumor has it!) :D ;)

Per Twitter:

Michigan will host Detroit Mercy in a closed-door scrimmage at Crisler Center on Oct. 24, according to sources.

Detroit Mercy is also playing Central Michigan in a closed scrimmage, per a source. That date is TBD.
