Mike Davis’ Div 1 transfer?

In past successful seasons, this was a solid formula for winning. Matt Jones could be a resurrection to this path. Perry was good at getting guys to transfer-in from the likes of UofM, Missouri, Iowa State, and Penn State.
I believe this is the first D1 transfer in quite sometime. Congrats coach!

Matt Jones? Do you mean Matt Johnson?
B.J. Maxwell was a D1 transfer last year — from Abilene Christian.
Justin Miller is another one — from Louisiana.
Brad Calipari from Kentucky.

Fraser this year from Idaho is a Division 1 transfer, as is Buol from California Baptist, as is Noah Waterman from Niagara.

Personally, I'd like to see a transfer with more than a single year of eligibility. Coach himself said in his first season that it takes a while to learn his defense system. But this year we'll be turning over half the roster again.

Harrison Curry was a transfer from Louisiana Tech with 2 years of eligibility remaining.
Maxwell and Calipari were grad transfers. So, too, this year are Fraser and Kuol.
