Thought I would start a thread on tomorrow’s pop-up game against the Our Lady Fighting Irish. Here’s a link to the game notes from Notre Dame:

You can bet that Father Brian Daley, a Jesuit priest and a professor of theology at Nortre Dame will be wearing red and white for this game :D .

Although Notre Dame is a Holly Cross Institution, our Jesuit Brothers actually founded the original log chapel in the 1700s. It was Father Edward Sorin that later used the chapel with his Holy Cross Brothers when he founded Notre Dame in the 1800s.

This game will be under the watchful eye of St. Ignatius. Don’t be surprised to see a few bounces and tips go out way...

I had Taurean Thompson penciled in as a starter however, he played less than a minute vs. Michigan State. Does anyone have insight on his status?

There is some irony here. TT chose SU over MSU but IZZO recruited him heavily and it was a close call, one that was influenced by him mother, who wanted him to be close to home.

Taurean will be OK. It's taking him longer to shake off the rust of not having played in real games for the past two seasons and to adapt to our system. Some guys take longer than others. Yes, I would have thought that he would be starting now, but it just isn't the case yet. He's a good kid, good student, and he will get better.

Only down by 6 at the half. Is anybody watching this game? I tried signing up for a
free 3 day trial but it didn’t work. So now I have to cancel it before having to pay
$60 a monthly automatically.

I've got AT&T UVerse and the game is on the ACC network.

Promising only being down 6 without getting much from AD. He wakes up and we've got a great chance here.

"Hang in their Titans" sounds vaguely pornographic.

I really like this team. I hope they get rewarded with a non-con win or two.

I think the HL "experts" just assumed it would be another year of Antoine versus everybody. We have a lot more work and improvement to accomplish. And getting Brandon, Waterman and Koka available will help our depth. But Fraser, Johnson and Kuol are some really tough players. No fear. No quit.

As with the game against MSU, we certainly miss Chris Brandon in the line up. Any idea when he'll be available?

I hear that Chris will be available sometime this week. Don't know if he'll play Tuesday vs Kent State. Maybe next Sunday at Western. Maybe Noah will get his waiver this week, too.

Injured his wrist a few weeks ago. Cast was recently removed. They’re hoping to have him ready to play soon.

AD had an off night offensively. If he played half as good as last year against ND we might of got a w. The rest of the team look good and was fun to watch. We just didn't have a bench to compete with ND. It appeared are guys lost steam at the end. Fast pace is what was helping us with there size.

P.S. I am a little glad Rose didn't put in that put back Dunk I might of injured my self falling out of my chair  . Can't wait until the next game.
