Great comeback. Brutal loss but a blowout would have been much worse. When Waterman fouled out, it hurt. The kid was all over the boards. Still, they played hard, Davis was on fire until the very end. As far as discontinuing D-1 basketball (all sports, really), that would be heartbreaking. The stuff with the women's team is dreadful and there's no way to make it better. For once, we received press from Detroit's woeful media, but for all the wrong reasons.
Still, to pull the plug on D-1 sports would be heartbreaking and, I think, premature. This past year has been a dreadful anomaly (I hope) and the effects of how it will effect the economy will probably be disastrous. That's okay, though, we can still print money

. Though I admit not to know any other solution to keep people from losing their homes. I've been working through the whole pandemic, scare, panic, with the public and I'm fine with the risk. And grateful to be working. I know I'll get a lot of flack for saying it, but I've always believed life came with risks and have few plans for living forever. I don't do well with waiting for the next edict from DC or Lansing before deciding what's safe for me. Damn the torpedoes; full speed ahead.
But my point is that the time for making any big decisions (like UD keeping D-1 sports) is not now. Let the dust settle first and go from there.
GO TITANS!! My best to all of you.
