If you look inside Mac’s Crystal Ball and can peak into the future, you might see that there is an ESPN special on Saturday April 2nd, called the “Rise of the Titans - UDM’s road to the Final Four”.

Stranger things have happened...

Feb 7 ranking

1-Cleveland
2-WSU
3-OU
4-NKU
5-YSU
6-UDM
7-GB
8-Mil
9-PFW
10-UIC
11-IUPUI
12-RMU

Feb 14 ranking

1-Cleveland
2-WSU
3-OU
4-NKU
5-YSU
6-UDM
7-GB
8-Mil
9-IUPUI
10-PFW
11-UIC
12-RMU

CSU 1 & 1 at home (UDM #6), WSU 2 win home (Mil #8), OU 1 & 1 away (RMU #12), NKU 1 & 1 away(GB #7), YSU 2 win home (PFW #9), UDM 1 & 1 away (#1 CSU), GB 1 & 1 at home (NKU #3), Mil 2 losses away (WSU #2), PFW 2 losses away (YSU #5), UIC 2 losses away (IUPUI #11), IUPUI 2 wins at home (UIC #10) and RUM 1 & 1 at home (OU #3)

What kind of formula does the HL have were a home team sweeps a team one ranking above and moves up two spots but a number one seed loses one game at home and stays the say and a number 3 seed losses one game against the 12 seed and stays. What kind of mathematics are they using? IUPUI is located close to the HL office that's got to be in that math equation  .

If you want to be even more confused look at the rankings on Jan 31. Then with a straight face ask how these teams are seeded the way the are on the games played.

Jan 31

1-CSU
2-WSU
3-OU
4-Mil
5-NKU
6-GB
7-PFW
8-YSU
9-UDM After just sweeping YSU on the road yet we are still ranked under them.
10-UIC
11-IUPUI
12-RMU

there is no crystal ball when logic and reason are thrown out the window. welcome to the summit, there i go again..i mean the horizon league... what can you expect from a league that conceals its methodology? fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your perspective, you can't make this stuff up?
In Greek mythology, the Titans were greater even than the gods. They ruled their universe with absolute power! Well that basketball court out there tonight, that's our universe. Let's rule it like Titans! (with apologies to coach boon)

The conference is not willing to show how the formula worked for each team to create the bracket? Shocking.

This is how much this seeding doesn't make any sense OU has only won one game since Jan 31 and is still in 3rd place. One of there losses was against a 12 seed team. There win percentage puts them at 5 in the conference.

Maybe it's on the strength of their preseason non-conference success.

Then OU should be in first place. Who cares about wins
