Probably right about that, if they are for 2013. And perhaps the Coach knows that we will definitely have more than two scholarships to offer due to transfers, players leaving, etc.

Each D1 school is allowed 12 campus visit per school year. Has anyone visited UDM this school year?

According to Rivals Aaron Simpson a JUCO pg from Lincoln CC visited UDM on 9/13/13. Kirky said that Jaleel Hogan visited UDM this week. Therefore, UDM still has 10 official campus visits left.

And 3-4 spots to fill.

Something a bit screwy with their stats on that site.

I heard the same thing. I heard he had a good visit, too. He looks like a really solid JUCO player, and he was highly recruited out of high school. I'm hoping that we can bring him in.

This might be a question for Kirky. We have 12 all expenses paid campus visits. According to my count, we have used at least 5 visits. Does anyone know who else has visited UDM recently?

Have we had any additional campus visitors, I believe we are allowed to have either 10 or 12 all expenses paid campus visits per school year. This year I can only count 3.

1.McFolley
2.Blackshear
3.English
4.Copeland (pending)

Juco guard Quavious Copeland had indicated in an interview that he would be taking an official visit to Detroit.

I thought that was to tryout for the Pistons.

Although I wasn't able to find a lot of information on Quavious Copeland, his stats indicate he had a solid season at a Florida JUCO in 2014-15. I'm glad the coaching staff is trying to add a PG to the roster. As we've discussed at length, the lack of quality and depth at PG has been a serious problem the past two seasons.

I am looking for Williams to have a huge year in his Jr. year. Hope he comes in in good health and good shape. I thought he was very good in the last quarter of the season. I think Jarod can be our point and run this team.

I think Williams had a combination of Sophmore jinx and injuries. I recall back at a September lunch, Coach had him and Juwan attend. He was very high on Williams hard work over the summer and he was poised for a great year. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way, but we did see him progressing at the end of the season in a positive direction.

Hopefully we'll see Jarod make a strong contribution in 2015-16, at various times over the past two seasons he was vey effective at PG. That being said, I still like the idea of adding some depth at that position.

5.Copeland?

The school can offer 10 all expenses paid visits to the motor city. UDM usually rolls out the red carpet and does a great job when a prospect visits. Have there been any other official visits to campus...according to my list we might have 5 or 6 left to offer.
