2-0 To Start the Horizon

Postby uofdmik2008 » Mon Jan 02, 2017 11:36 am

Lady Titans are off to a 2-0 start and are tied with Green Bay and Oakland for first in the league, they will be playing Oakland on Saturday at Oakland. Titans have faced the same opponents in UIC and Valpo, beating UIC 98-76 while Oakland beat them 81-58, we beat Valpo 85-60 while Oakland won 104 to 63, we did have our bench in the game for the last 6 minutes of both contests, not sure what Oakland did. On paper Oakland is a bigger team, but we have some favorable match ups. Hopefully the ladies come out victories from Rochester on Saturday. Come out and support them! Go Titans!

Didn't want to start a new thread.

Ladies play at Wright State tonight. WSU is second in conference at 7-1. Titans are third at 6-2. The gals are just 3-7 in true road games this year, but an upset tonight in Dayton would give them the tiebreaker and effective control of second place, behind Green Bay, whom they host next weekend.

Ladies beat Milwaukee on Thursday to take sole possession of 3rd place in the HL at 8-3. The Titans trail first place Green Bay by two games, with the Phoenix visiting Calihan tomorrow, Saturday, at 1:00.
