Country music superstar Garth Brooks streamed a live concert earlier this evening wearing a University of Detroit Mercy lacrosse hoodie!
The gray sweatshirt had #43 on it — presumably a warm-up worn by junior Kaegan Kumnick.
In the neighborhood of 300,000 people were watching when I tuned in.
I guess he didn’t want to get in any more trouble by wearing a Barry Sanders jersey again. (Some goofballs misinterpreted that as a sign he was endorsing Bernie Sanders for President.)
Brooks was on UDM’s campus a couple weeks ago. He spoke to a group of around a hundred students about suicide prevention the day before his Ford Field concert.
