Not really. The loss to UofM hurt, especially since UofM hasn't played all that well since. The loss to Marquette doesn't hurt so much as they moved into the top 10. Not bad for a program in its 3rd year as DI. There goes Marquette blowing by us again.
Our goalie was the conference POW again and in polls for national player of the week again, with 26 saves in a game. That is quite remarkable. A lot of goals are scored in lacrosse so its pretty hard for a goalie to look good out there, but Jason Weber seems to see the ball and react soooo quickly its amazing sometimes.
While being talked about in the top 20 is great and can surely help recruiting, the real goal is to get to the NCAAs, and the only way they could do that is win the conference tournament.
