Awesome comeback win for the lads in red, white and blue.

Does anyone know why Robbie Beckwell didn't play goalie? Is he injured? In the doghouse?

Also, Pilankos was injured after his goal, not sure what happened or how serious.

Titan men's soccer are on national TV this morning (Friday, Sept 29). Their 2-2 tie versus Ohio State is being broadcast by BTN from 10am-noon.

Some of the sheen comes off this tie, as Oakland beat OSU 1-0 on Tuesday night.

Detroit plays at Oakland at 3:30 on Saturday. A Titan win probably takes OU out of the Horizon tournament picture, and would move the 4th place Titans into at least a tie for third at the end of all the day's action. A loss would move OU into a tie with the Titans, UIC, and possibly Milwaukee for 4th, and holding the tie-breaker. Only the top 4 teams make the conference tournament for an NCAA bid.

UDM tied Oakland last night 0-0 (game was rescheduled from Saturday). The Titans are now tied for 4th place in the league with 3 games to play. It is my understanding that 6 of the 10 teams make the conference tournament.
