On a media note, I for one appreciate that the Detroit News has assigned Tony Paul to cover the Horizon League and the two metro Detroit members of the conference. On the other hand, the Detroit Free Press devoted zero coverage to yesterday’s story, on par for how they generally pay attention to area college sports outside of the two Michigan Big Ten teams.
