I'm not surprised by Hamrick's decision to transfer. With the signings of BJ Maxwell, Dwayne Rose Jr, and Alonde LeGrand; it's likely that Hamrick's playing time would have been very limited.

Objectively, It seems doubtful that Rose and LeGrand would take PT from Hamrick. I figure heading in that Davis and Maxwell likely start in the backcourt with Pink backing up the point (which isn't a ton of minutes given what AD plays). Hamrick would likely more or less split time with Maxwell, sometimes in a 3-guard lineup.

Anyway, I'm disappointed--I liked Lamar.

I liked him, too. A lot of energy.

Unrelated to the 'Hamrick transferring' topic .... what is your assessment of Justin Miller and how does his skill set differ from Harrison Curry?
